Latest OEM Solutions Meet Mobile Operator, Manufacturer and ISP Needs for Convergent next Gen Software and Services
10th February 2009
Avanquest Software, a leading developer of state-of-the-art consumer and OEM software for mobility and telecommunications, will showcase its complete line up of advanced mobile and Web solutions for network operators, ISPs and device manufacturers at the annual GSMA Mobile World Congress. The premier event of the worldwide wireless industry takes place in Barcelona on 16th-19th February 2009. The Avanquest Software stand is located in Hall 1, Booth 59.
Visitors to the Avanquest Software stand will experience a broad range of dynamic new innovations, from sharing and synchronising solutions to PC optimisation and backup. Avanquest Software is leading the way in mobility, Internet and PC convergence to deliver a range of consumer and business services for wireless operators, ISPs and equipment manufacturers.
Heading the new Avanquest Software product line up will be a fully-featured version of SendPhotos, a robust online photo-sharing ecosystem that provides certified support for more than 140 mobile devices from leading manufacturers. Supporting the world’s first Android-powered smartphone, the TMobile G-1, Avanquest Software’s SendPhotos also offers compatibility with the latest Apple iPhone, Blackberry’s Pearl, Curve, Storm and Bold devices, plus millions of S60 and other Symbian-based smartphones in the marketplace today. Providing true convergence via PC client, device client and remote web access, SendPhotos enables delivery of the latest value-added converged services to operator and ISP customers worldwide.
Avanquest Software will also premiere at Mobile World Congress a true local synchronisation and multimedia management solution for the Android platform. This enables Android-powered devices to deliver multimedia capabilities comparable to the iTunes user experience. Amid growing Android OS support by device manufacturers, the thin-client solution employs a USB connection to work directly with Avanquest Software mobility tools, thus standardising data transfer between the Android-OS device and Windows-based PC and enabling PIM sync and management of music, playlists and other multimedia content.
The growing family of Avanquest Software mobility products showcased at Mobile World Congress includes Mobile Phone Companion, the web-synchronised, PC widget version of Mobile PhoneTools, the world’s leading Windows-based mobility suite with more than 280 million copies sold worldwide. Also on show will be 3G Connection Manager, a powerful new high-speed cellular Internet access management tool, designed for both GSM and CDMA networks and optimised to run on the latest generation of ultra-lightweight and ultra-portable netbook PC devices.
Additionally, Avanquest Software will preview its forthcoming WebEasyLive.com solution for the ISP market. This is a customisable SaaS ‘no programming’ website builder that leverages the powerful Adobe® Flex®3 Framework to let ISPs expand their service offerings to businesses and consumers, providing anytime, anywhere maintenance and easy remote update of ISP-hosted websites.
“Avanquest Software will demonstrate at Mobile World Congress its ongoing ability to develop advanced, customised solutions that proactively address changes in the mobile industry and meet the needs of network operators as well as mobile device and accessory manufacturers worldwide,” said David Wright, President of Avanquest Software’s OEM Division. “Following 25 years of successful Avanquest Software product introductions, these new offerings show Avanquest Software’s continued leadership in technology trends.”
