By Avanquest’s founders, Bruno Vanryb (President & CEO) and Roger Politis (Chief Technical Officer) Although in business over 20 years, in the six years since 2001, Avanquest Software has transformed itself from a regional business into a strong global technology and publishing company. With a significant presence in the United States, Europe and Asia; substantial sales through new online channels as well as traditional ones; and a balance of software titles through a broad range of product categories; our corporation has emerged as one of the world’s most diversified software publishers with more than 300 titles available in up to 27 languages. This position has been consolidated in the past year: - With two major acquisitions concluded at the beginning of 2007: Nova Development in the United States and EMME in Europe, thereby enabling our company to double in size. - By increasing our investment in the development of new innovative applications for Windows Vista, and the Digital photography and multimedia market such as SendPhotos software, which enables users to manage and share photos over the Internet. - Through continued investment in our traditional markets of PC utilities, software for mobile devices, and productivity tools for small businesses and home offices. As a result, we now rank No. 5 in retail sales revenue in USA and no. 3 in retail sales in Europe (excluding Microsoft). For the 2007 fiscal year, we are forecasting a significant increase above our initial revenue forecast of € 100 million and we are now forecasting to exceed € 130 million, which represents more than a 75% increase over 2006. The Group’s renewed ambition, supported by our new development strategy, enables us to aim for the € 200 million annual sales threshold in the next three years. Looking forward, our success in promoting the Avanquest Brand and making our corporation a world leader will be based on a continued emphasis on innovation, product excellence, and proximity to our customers. We are committed to maintain our focus on these core values. We thank you for your confidence. Bruno Vanryb and Roger Politis.
