Webmaster / E-Commerce Technical Manager

Description: The Webmaster/E-Commerce Technical Manager has a dual role. The Webmaster manages technical web development for all company websites. The E-Commerce Technical Manager manages the database of user registrations, provides data mining services, Web sales reports, and Web analytics.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Manage the technical development of all internal and external North American websites. Work with internal groups such as end-user support and marketing to design and update websites.
  • Manage the work of web developers, SQL programmers, and SQL report writers. Work with Marketing and Web Design groups.
  • Develop, code, install, test, and debug Web-based applications using C#, ASP.Net, client-side scripting, HTML, and SQL.
  • Perform SQL queries, inserts, additions, and deletions.
  • Provide custom Web analytic reports including visitor statistics, navigation, trends, and e-commerce activity. Validate results and establish reporting benchmarks to insure accuracy prior to distribution
  • Develop processes for tracking and coding of online marketing campaigns to determine program success and return on investment.
  • Help create Web- and email-based direct mail offers. Implement offer, conversion tracking, and reporting for each campaign.  
  • Clearly and thoroughly document all Web and e-commerce processes.
  • Perform list pulls for direct sales campaigns.
  • Maintain and upgrade database of user registrations. Perform regular address standardization, address correction, de-dupe, and opt outs purge on user registration database.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years proven experience in website management. Experience managing staff.
  • Background in E-Commerce and direct sales via email. Experience with postal mail campaigns desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Fast, productive, and detail oriented.
  • 5+ years C#/ASP.Net experience as a web developer.
  • Strong familiarity with SQL queries..
  • Familiarity with VisualStudio.NET 2005 and IIS setup.
  • Ability to write and edit HTML and CSS code in a text editor.

 

 

 

 
JD AP Specialist

Responsibilities include:

  • Process Accounts Payable
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
  • Reconcile monthly accounts
  • Journalize recurring and non-recurring entries based on balance sheet schedules
  • Update Profit and Loss statement on a monthly basis

Retail Channel Marketing Manager

Key functions of this position are:

  • Oversee retail marketing and channel activities for all Avanquest software products
  • Manage and analyze retail promotions
  • Assist sales reps in the day-to-day management of retail accounts in terms of product information and advocacy
  • Respond to retailer requests for additional product information, creating compelling reasons for retail channel to support new products
  • Maintain promotional calendar
  • Develop mechanics of retailer promotions and communicate actual offers to buyers
  • Conduct regular store visits, both to ensure proper presentation of Avanquest products and, from time to time, to report on where non-AQ products are carried
  • Participate in sales calls
  • Attend reseller events such as trade and manager shows
  • Create account-specific business plans for top accounts
  • Produce presentation materials for sales team via PowerPoint, sell sheets and catalogs
  • Participate in strategy and planning sessions
  • Supervise seasonal purchasing strategies for premium items, giveaways and displays
  • Trade Show management

Qualifications required for this position are:

  • In depth understanding of the retail and distribution channels marketing and sales
  • Analytical thought process
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities

The job

We are looking for someone to manage our online marketing to consumers and small businesses in North America. The position will be based in either Calabasas or Pleasanton with occassional in-state trips required. Travel to Paris, France 3 or 4 times a year is important to maintain communication and synchronization with our Global Online Marketing Team.

The position will take ownership and accountability for the performance of the web team in North America. You will develop plans and coach your high performance team to achieve the quarterly and yearly goals you will set. The team will work to achieve these goals through all the online and interactive marketing techniques you can deploy  and you will also be responsible for the  management and optimization of the Avanquest North American web sites.

The person

To be successful in this role you will have excellent online marketing knowledge based on 5+ years experience of web based interactive marketing using the range of skills you will have learned doing a similar position. You would have experience using online techniques, specifically site merchandizing, email marketing, online promotions, PPC and SEO. Ideally you would also have worked in the software or IT business - but we can train a candidate who is strong in all other areas. In the perfect world you will have had full business responsibility of an e-commerce site.
